Have you ever heard the phrase, “do you have what it takes?”. This is a leading question about GRIT and our ability to complete things even when we may not feel like it or when things are hard. Tonight, we dive into GRIT, how to develop GRIT and how to identify how much GRIT you have. Statistics tell us, based on a study performed by the US Military Academy, that GRIT is a better indicator of success than intelligence and physical fitness. One resource we mentioned multiple times was a GRIT score, based on Angela Duckworth’s book, which is a self-assessment hosted by Penn St University. Go give it a try and let us know how you do.
